When she starts to come to, things are fuzzy at best. She's groggy as all hell and not even really aware of the fact that she's waking up. Her hands twitching slightly, CT's brow furrows softly before her eyes slide open slowly. At first, she has to squint against the harsh light in the room, but as things come into focus, she glances around herself. Eyes darting around quickly, it takes her...maybe a moment or two longer than it should for her to figure out where she is.

Med bay. Recovery room, more specifically. But why...? The reasoning, she's lost on. She doesn't remember the last thing that happened, finding that everything in her head is a bit jumbled. She can't really find a defined timeline.

Head rolling to one side, CT's gaze finds itself resting on...Wash? But what's he doing here? Not that she has a problem at all with the company, she's just lost. Drawing in a breath through her nose, she watches him for longer than she realizes, then gives her head a gentle shake in an effort to clear it once she comes to a bit more clearly.

"Wash?" She asks finally, voice quiet. Not yet taking notice of the fact that his hand is resting on top of hers, a confused frown sets in across her face. She doesn't like this feeling. She wants her head clear at all times, so this foggy feeling, this inability to sort out what the hell happened is frustrating. "What are you doing here? What happened?"

He feels it when she stirs, and his gaze jerks to her face, his expression twisting for a moment before he manages to get it back to calm, or as close to calm as he can manage.

"Connie." It's not what she prefers to be called, but at the moment, he honestly doesn't give a damn and then she's asking him a question and he takes a breath.

"...You...There were some problems with the Epsilon AI, they finally had to remove it and you've been asleep for days." Which is a hell of a lot longer than he'd really have liked.

"How do you feel?"

She doesn't take any notice of him using "Connie" instead of "CT." It's not like names are the thing she's focused on right now. She's focused on remembering, nothing else.

"Days?" CT repeats, frowning. At the mention of Epsilon, she remembers that she'd been going in to surgery for the implantation. That's right, that was...the last thing that happened? The last thing that she can remember, for the moment, but it doesn't feel as though it's been days... With the way Wash is looking at her though, she doesn't think he's lying.

"I don't know. Everything's...fuzzy." She answers, frown staying firmly in place. With everything so out of focus, her not even being all that sure of what the hell had happened or what problems were had with Epsilon, she can't really tell how she's feeling. Beyond confused, that is. "I don't like feeling this way. I can't--...I remember going in for implantation. And I remember..."

Trailing off, she tries to mentally grab on to some fleeting memory. One that she can feel on the edge of her mind, like it's about to leap away and she'll have no chance of ever retrieving it. It takes some work, but she latches on, and she's not really thinking when she continues, speaking on a breath;

"Allison."

"Allison?" He questioned after a moment, eyeing her before he sighed out a breath.

"It's probably better you don't remember, I...heard some of it, and the Epsilon unit... It didn't go well." Not that they'd let him stay once he'd been found outside the infirmary.

"The fuzziness should pass, Connie."
