The call from Carolina is a little bit of a surprise and he catches a ride out to the temple, although it takes a few hours. Arriving has him eyeing the building before he moves into the temple and just stops dead in his tracks when he actually sees who's standing there with Carolina
And there's a moment where he can't quite breathe because it's been years since he'd had to dispose of York and it had been one of the nightmares that still haunts him and then he sucks in a slow breath.
And Carolina's gone a moment later, leaving them alone as Wash lifts his hands, removing his helmet as soon as she's out of sight.
